As I have grown up, I have found myself surrounded by clichés and half hearted "BE YOURSELF" words plastered everywhere - especially when at school. However, the winner of most clichés and attempt-at-inspiring-but-have-ultimately failed quotes and posters have been in libraries - school libraries to be specific. These thoughts and slightly nostalgic memories of the attempted inspiration came back to me while I was studying at my local library near my house. The difference of both width, size and colour really brought attention to my eyes - there was a photo - okay, a few, that NEEDED to be taken; to preserve this memory of school libraries, but also of the vibrancy and contrast I was witnessing. The first photo was the "cliché", as it was plain, and I could literally imagine the inspiring quotes and words written on those titles on a poster hung in an elementary school library. The second and third photos feature the exact same books, but are taken at a slightly different, and in my opinion, more visually appealing angle. Clichés turned slightly better, and perhaps to be turned into a more inspiring poster?
